Miss Babydoll Comes To Visit

On Monday Babydoll came to visit for a while to play with Jumpin' J! She is such a talkative little pixie and it was a delight to have her over.

She and J look like they are the same size but while they are about the same height J weighs about 8 pounds more!

I spent the afternoon marveling at the differences and similarities between the two of them while they played and tussled and watched a little Cars and generally had a great time.

They even had time to play a little foosball.

Even if they had to stand on stools

We all had such a good time and we hope Babydoll comes back soon!!!

Operation Lunch: Pancakes and Jello

This weekend we invited our friends over to enjoy a fun to eat at any time of the day brunch of pancakes. J's dad was at the stove since he is the official pancake maker of the family. And Marci generously provided mini chocolate chips to add with blueberries, strawberries, and bananas to the pancakes. We also had real whipped cream and maple syrup for on top.

The kids all ate their fill and then had a good time making mini jello jigglers before going off to play. I think I can speak for everyone when I say it was a good time, we need to do it again soon! And a special thanks to EZ for helping J's dad move the mammoth train table!

Like You, Love Your Crackers

Jumpin' J and Ares (Greek God of War) have been friends for about a year now. J looks forward to seeing him at gym class and today was no exception. And after class Ares' mom was the super mom as usual and had crackers for Ares which he kindly shared with J. One minute they were both running around and the next minute there they were, sharing Ares' crackers and watching the older babes in the next class.

Barber's Kids

This past week Jumpin' J and I got together with some of the other "Barber's Girls" and their kids. J had an awesome time playing with "Tommy B's" toys although he did steal his peas.

And I had a great time visiting with Michelle and Sandy!!! We can't wait to do it again soon. Here's a pic of Tommy B, Jumpin' J, and Star.

It's all about love

When LP comes to visit us it's always a special treat for Jumpin' J. This time she came we took her to Playtown where they both had an amazing time!


And then they finger painted in the tub together.

Auntie Erika and Mommy got to go have girl time together and brought home presents for everyone. And then Uncle Mike and Daddy went to see a scary movie together. All in all, we have to say that everyone had a GREAT weekend!!!! See you soon, we miss you already!!!

Still Riley's Birthday

It has become a new ritual at our house to sing Happy Birthday. J tells me who's birthday it is and I sing the song while he dances. We usually sing to Grandma, Daddy, Mommy, James, Thomas (the train), and Goldbug. Goldbug is the little bug hidden on every page of his Cars, Trucks, and Things that Go book. Then he sings Happy Birthday to Riley, always Riley and only Riley! I think Riley is looking pretty good for having had about 100 years birthdays, don't you think?

Ahoy Matey

Pirates say Shiver Me Timbers and Ahoy Matey and Arrrrgh! J can do them all and LOVES his new pirate ship that "Becca" and her family gave to him for Christmas!

It has more buttons and cool nooks to look at, J can make them drink from the cup or go night night! And the ship has a monkey and parrot to keep the pirates company! So awesome!

The Presher Girls

We finally got to meet the newest addition to the Presher family who made her arrival over a month early in order to meet Santa this year! She is a blonde version of her older sister! We are so glad the everyone is OK and must say that Mackenzie looks awesome!!!

Happy Birthday Riley

We went to a first birthday party last weekend for Riley. Riley's mom is one of my oldest friends, almost 25 years!!! We had a great time at the party which you can see more about on Riley's blog and Jumpin' J now loves to sing Happy Birthday. But he thinks the song is specifically for Riley so he always sings it to her. It goes something like Happy Day! Happy Day! Happy Day Riley To You! I guess it's better to hear live!

Rubba Dub Dub

Three monkeys in a tub!!! A couple of J's and my friends came over to play on Monday morning. The mom's had a good time chatting while the kids played.





And as usual we had great food so none of the kids wanted lunch. But they all took GREAT naps! It is always great to see Lightning and Babydoll (names changed to protect the innocent!) and their moms!!

Die-Hard Playgrounders

It's getting cold but Jumpin' J doesn't care. J loves playgrounds so much that I think we may be going even in the snow. Guess I'll have to get some furry boots. Friday we met up with a couple of WMM moms to go to the playground in Millbury. J and his fellow die-harder, Braden, were totally psyched to get to play. Here's an action shot on the tire swing! They were totally wobbly when they got off, too funny!!!

Fun with the Mayos

Jumpin J's dad and Erik were supposed to go to the Red Sox playoff game on Sunday so the Mayo girls invited us over to have dinner and play. Jumpin' J had so much fun playing with all their toys. And Taylor was such a nice big friend to let J sit in her booster seat to have dinner. The three little munchkins were so cute in their pjs.



We could not get J to look at the camera. In honor of Taylor and Ashley's super cute smiles I made the picture PINK!!

Mini Merry Go Round

While at the mall this evening with our lovely neighbors the kids conned me into paying for a ride on the mini merry-go-round. The smiles on Jumpin' J and the girls' faces made it worth the two dollars I spent!

Playgrounds in the Morning

I joined the Worcester Mamas and Munchkins group on Meetup.com in order to try to meet some new moms and entertain Jumpin' J at the same time. We've been trying to get to one meet-up a week. So far so good, I like the moms and J is having a great time playing with all the kids!

There are a lot of morning meet-up which is the perfect time for us since Jumpin' J gets a little antsy in the AM when we're just hanging at home. And it's perfect playground weather right now so we've been jumping all over the playground meet-ups that are in our area. This morning we went to one right here in town so that was easy and fun! Here's J on the swings...

Hampton Beach Visit

Grandma Laurie was on vacation last week at Mike's Hampton beach house so Jumpin' J and I went up there to visit for a few days. J loves his Grandma Laurie and they went for long walks each morning so I could sleep in which I greatly appreciated. We only made it to the beach on Wednesday but that was OK because we kept busy. And J just loved that Mike's boys and their friends were in and out a lot since they were there surfing.

Unfortunately I am unable to find my camera so I don't have any pictures but you can see one on Riley's blog since Katy and Riley came to visit on Wednesday. If I can find my camera I'll post some pictures later. Thanks to Mike for letting us come stay we had a nice relaxing time!
